What Goes Into a Full Band Dress
Schools often order the coat pant and then discover the band still does not look finished. It is the smaller pieces that create the effect from a distance.
Coat & Pant
The jacket and trouser — army pattern, ceremonial or waistcoat style, in your school's base colour.
Cap or Beret

These are the schemes Indian schools request most often. Any of them can be matched to your existing blazer or house palette.
Red & Gold
The classic ceremonial scheme. Highest visibility on a parade ground and the most requested by far.
Navy & Gold
Formal and restrained. Works well for schools whose existing uniform is already navy.
Maroon & Gold
Warmer than red, popular with convent and residential schools.
Bottle Green & Gold
Distinctive without being loud. Common where green is already a house colour.

Yes. Band dress is the term most commonly used in the Indian band trade and by school staff, while band uniform is the more formal English term. They mean the same thing, and we manufacture both under either name.

Yes. Girls sets are available in skirt, culotte or trouser configurations with the same design language, so a mixed troupe looks matched on the parade ground.
Gaiters (गेटिस) are the white leg coverings worn over the shoe and lower trouser. They are what gives a band its crisp uniform look from a distance, and most schools order them with the complete set.
The cummerbund (कमरबंद) is the wide waist sash, usually in contrasting stripes, worn over the trouser waist. It hides the waistband join and adds the ceremonial look.
Aiguillettes, or कंधे की डोरी in the trade. They are the braided cords looped from the shoulder across the chest, available in gold, silver or your house colours.
