Stride & Leg Room
Trousers cut with enough rise and knee room for a full marching stride, so nothing pulls or rides up during a route march or drill formation.
Shoulder & Arm Movement
Armholes and shoulders shaped for playing while marching. Drum harnesses and instrument carriers sit flat instead of bunching the jacket under the straps.
Heat & Perspiration
Fabric recommended by climate, with breathable linings, so a long outdoor show does not leave students overheating in a heavy ceremonial weave.

We recommend fabric by climate. Gaberdine and poly-viscose are the usual choices for long outdoor drill in warm or humid regions, while terry wool blends suit formal winter marching in the north.
