Why is there a shipping charge on this item?

A 22-inch sousaphone is large and heavy, and freight for an instrument this size costs more than standard courier shipping. Prepaid orders pay ₹1,500 shipping, and cash-on-delivery orders pay a ₹5,000 shipping charge upfront to cover the higher freight and return risk on a large instrument.

Is the white finish paint or lacquer?

It is a white lacquer finish over the brass body, the same lacquering process used on standard brass-finish instruments, just in white rather than gold. It is not a removable paint coating.

How much do I pay if I choose cash on delivery?

You pay ₹20,000 by UPI when you place the order. That is a 30% advance of ₹15,000 plus a ₹5,000 shipping charge. The balance of ₹35,000 is paid in cash to the courier at the time of delivery.

Does the price include a mouthpiece and carry bag?

Yes. The ₹50,000 price covers the sousaphone, a mouthpiece and a carry bag. Nothing else needs to be bought separately to start playing.
